Country Music festival in Las Vegas Turns deadly as 58 people are killed

On Sunday, October 1, 2017, Stephen Paddock of Nevada opened fire on about 22, 000 concert goers from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas. In the process, he killed 58 people and injured over 500 others in attendence. 

News outlets are calling this incident the worst mass shooting in American history. According to reports, the suspect, Stephen Paddock fired hundreds of rounds from a military grade weapon for at least 15 minutes non-stop. There is currently no motive for the attack as Paddock killed himself during a standoff with a Nevada SWAT team.
