Starbucks CEO to meet with Black men arrested for waiting in Philadelphia Store

A store manager at a Philadelphia Starbucks store called the police because the two men were sitting in the store without placing an order.  As a result, they were arrested for trespassing. Many customers who witnessed the incident said they were waiting for another man to arrive. That person arrived at the store as they were being arrested.

Starbucks CEO, Kevin Johnson said he hoped to meet with the two men in person to apologize face to face for the incident.

The company has been facing backlash since this incident and since a statement was released. Many people on social media felt the company did not take enough of the blame for the situation. Hopefully, the men invloved wil be issued a proper apology from the CEO when they go to meet with him.
