Donald Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen was ordered to appear in court by Judge Kimba Wood and release the name of his anonymous client as part of the FBI investigation into $130,000 in hush money Cohen paid to porn star Stormy Daniels, who allegedly had an affair with Trump in 2006. The mysterious client was Fox News pundit, and Trump advocate Sean Hannity.
Cohen's lawyer, Steve Ryan argued that the unnamed third client is a “publicly prominent individual” who didn’t want to be associated with the ongoing investigation into Cohen’s business dealings.
Hannity denied he was ever Cohen’s client in a Tweet.
“Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees...”
