Many questions were raised when Sadie Roberts-Joseph, the founder of the Odell S. Williams Now & Then Museum of African American History in Baton Rouge, Louisiana was recently found dead in the trunk of a car. Early reports did not specify the cause of death but one could only imagine how she ended up in the trunk of a car 3 miles from her home.
Yesterday the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Officer ruled that the preliminary cause of death was "traumatic asphyxia, including suffocation."
As of right now there are no suspects regarding the death of Sadie Roberts-Joseph. Mayor Sharon Weston Broome said the city is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
