It was reported on Wednesday that Kobe Bryant's investment of $6M dollars in a company called BodyArmor sports is now worth $200M dollars. The soft drink giant Coca Cola acquired a minority stake in the sports drink company causing Kobe Bryant's initial investment to net him a 3,200% return.
So football season is finally over with the thrilling conclusion of Super Bowl 52 which saw The Philadelphia Eagles defend the defending champs, The New England Patriots. I’m a Patriots fan (I don’t care, sue me) so I wasn’t too happy, but I’ll admit, it was a great game.
If anybody watched basketball the first month of the season, it was a clear given that Ben Simmons was the Rookie of the Year. It was over! We saw all we needed to see! Just hand him the trophy now and save yourself the headache! Some say it still is. Simmons is putting up a very impressive 16.9 points, 7.4 assists, and 8.5 rebounds while shooting .504% from the floor.
